Biography

Dr. Rob Moss graduated with honors from the University of NSW in Sydney, Australia. He trained and practiced as a general internist and intensivist before training in cardiology at the Prince Charles Hospital, the dedicated cardiovascular hospital for Queensland, Australia. He completed a fellowship in Heart Failure and Transplant and then traveled to Vancouver where he completed a fellowship in Echocardiography. He was recruited to staff at St Paul’s Hospital Vancouver/UBC in 2005. He attends in the consult/ward service in addition to his core duties as a staff echocardiographer. His interests are aortic stenosis, diastolic function, pericardial disease, quantification of valvular regurgitation, 3-D imaging, point of care ultrasound, and interventional echocardiography. He is dedicated to the promotion of quality in imaging. He has published in many of these areas. He is the current Physician Lead in Echocardiography at St. Paul's Hospital.
