Role of Echo in Cardiogenic Shock

Biography

Dr. Jordan Hutson is a cardiologist and critical care physician at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute (UOHI) and an assistant professor in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Ottawa. Dr. Hutson graduated with honours from Western University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Medical Sciences. She completed her medical degree at the University of Toronto in 2013 and post-graduate medical training in internal medicine at the University of Toronto in 2017. Dr. Hutson then completed training in cardiology at the UOHI in 2020 and a critical care medicine fellowship at the University of Ottawa in 2022. In 2023, she completed the Level III echocardiography fellowship at the UOHI. Dr. Hutson joined the Division of Cardiology at the UOHI in 2023. Dr. Hutson’s clinical and research interests include cardiac critical care and medical education.
