Learning Objectives

At the end of this session, the participant will be able to: • Understand the indications for, benefits and risks of, and administration protocols for use of ultrasound enhancing agents in ACHD and pediatric populations • Describe the comprehensive transthoracic echocardiographic approach to the evaluation of patients with ACHD, including atrial septal defect (ASD), ventricular septal defect (VSD), patent ductus arteriosus (PDA), tetralogy of fallot (TOF) and transposition of the great arteries (TGA). • Recognize the role for echocardiographic evaluation of the right ventricle in patients with ACHD
