Dr. Luc Beauchesne is a member of the Division of Cardiology at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute (UOHI) and Professor of Medicine at the University of Ottawa Faculty of Medicine. He is the current Fellowship Director at the UOHI Echocardiography Laboratory. Dr. Beauchesne completed his medical studies at McGill University in Montreal and his postgraduate training at Dalhousie University in Halifax (Rotating Internship); Foothills Hospital in Calgary (Internal Medicine); and the UOHI (Cardiology). He subsequently completed Fellowships in Echocardiography at the UOHI and in Adult Congenital Heart Disease at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC) and of the American College of Cardiology (FACC). Dr. Beauchesne is member of the Canadian Cardiovascular Society, the Canadian Society of Echocardiography and the American Society of Echocardiography.
